    Similar in height and weight to the standard version, the XL model digs a 70% larger (by area) hole/plug, making it ideal for planting larger diameter bulbs like daffodils and tulips. It is also better suited for plugging lawn grasses* such as St. Augustine and Centipede.  Digs holes/plugs that are 2-1/8" in diameter (about the size of a tennis ball).  Adapter plates allow you to vary the depth of the plugs you can pull from 2" to 4" and even 6" deep. 

    The 5-IN-1 XL also makes a terrific planting tool for your favorite annuals and other bedding plants.  The versatile ProPlugger is also a weeding tool that effectively plugs out and removes the entire weed... stem, bulb, roots and all.
