Spend more time enjoying your landscape (not working in it) with the 5-IN-1 Landscape Plugger. Both models (std and XL) are similar in height (34.25") and weight (5 lbs). This original (standard) version digs holes/plugs that are 1-5/8" diameter (about the size of a golf ball). If larger plugs are needed, please see the XL version, which pulls 2-1/8" diameter plugs.

Both models are versatile, year round landscape tools for many lawn and garden needs. Adapter plates (included) install in seconds and allow you to vary the depth of the plugs you can pull from 2" to 4" and even 6" deep. 

A bulb planting tool, a lawn plugger**, a bedding planter for annuals and perennials, a weeding tool and a border grass planter. Also makes a great soil sampling tool for taking core samples for analysis as well as an effective drip-edge fertilizer tool for your trees and shrubs.

**Note: The standard model 5-IN-1 is not recommended for cutting St. Augustine and Centipede turf plugs due to their loose runner and root structure. The XL version of the 5-IN-1 is required for these turf varieties.

Just step, twist and pull and that nasty weed is gone.  Drop some organic material, like our convenient coco peat discs, into the hole to help break up compacted or clay soil, add nutrients and help aerate your soil for optimal health. 

Lay out borders for a nice, winding garden path with the ProPlugger. Working from a standing position, you can quickly and accurately lay out and dig planting holes for your border grasses like liriope, with precision and perfect spacing.

The 5-IN-1 XL can also be used as a soil sampling tool for taking soil core samples, up to 6" deep, for your annual soil analysis, and essential step in ensuring your soil's health.

Provide the care that your landscape trees deserve by regular fertilization. By using the 5-IN-1 as a drip-edge fertilizing tool, you won't have to worry about over-fertilizing your lawn grass or other landscape plants when you fertilize your trees. Use the ProPlugger to quickly plug out evenly spaced fertilizing holes around the drip-edge area of your trees.  After dropping the recommended type and amount of fertilizer into the holes, you simply press the plugs taken earlier, back into the holes and you're done.  You've fertilized your tree's feeder root system without affecting existing lawn grass or other landscape plantings.
